Steve and Judy Nowak purchased the Beehive Neighborhood Hangout in early March, 2023.  Their goal was not to become business owners, but to save this gem in the forest known for its food, cocktails, and great live music. They focused on creating new menu items, hosting special holiday and event gatherings, providing a venue for private parties and meetings, and delivering the best bands and variety entertainment in HSV. Under Steve and Judy's ownership the Beehive once again became "the place to Bee"!

In May 2023, Steve and Judy established a partnership with Tamara Cull and Tim Norvell the owners of Chefs For Seniors, Arkansas to establish a way to bring in culinary trained Executive Chefs to the Beehive for special events. This partnership produced the first wine & dinner pairing event hosted at the Beehive to a sold-out crowd! That partnership and the expertise that the Chefs For Seniors, Arkansas team could execute would lead to a plan for Steve and Judy to sell the Beehive to Tamara Cull and Tim Norvell on June 9, 2023.

Who are these new owners? Tamara Cull and Tim Norvell are siblings (Tim's the oldest!) and Arkansas proud! The sibling duo grew up in Texarkana, AR and for the last 30 years have lived in the state (Sherwood, Little Rock, Hot Springs, and Fayetteville/Springdale). Tamara and Tim spent 30 years in healthcare leadership roles and upon retirement from that industry formed Chefs For Seniors, AR to solve a need for seniors (and non-seniors) to be able to access high-quality, nutritious, delicious foods prepared by culinary trained Chefs. The Chefs For Seniors, AR team now has Chefs working in 21 AR counties and 2 TX counties and is the fastest growing Executive Chef company in the state.

The hard work that Steve and Judy Nowak put in to make the Beehive Neighborhood Hangout once again "the place to Bee" made the decision to buy an easy one for Tamara and Tim. The first time they experienced the Beehive in person they knew they wanted to be a part of this special place and part of this special HSV community that treats others like family. The sibling duo's passion for excellent food combined with excellent service topped off with innovative new ideas is going to take the Beehive to the next level.

Where will the new owners start? An Executive Chef of course! Join us in welcoming Executive Chef, Seth Bailey. Chef Seth is a highly sought after French trained Chef that could be leading any kitchen he desires and he picked the Beehive. Why? He says..."It's a special place and I want to be a part of it". Chef Seth has a new menu in place and will have new specials often so try something new!
